About Sushma Koneru, MD (Clermont Oakley Seaver 1)

Medicine residency and one year of chief residency at Southern Illinois University, followed by an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship at the University of Rochester, New York, and an Adult Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

She is a general cardiologist with special expertise in advanced heart failure therapies and mechanical circulatory support. Dr. Koneru is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiogram, the Heart Failure Society of America, ISHLT, and more. Dr. Koneru aims to provide excellent clinical care while advancing heart failure treatments through research, education, and leading-edge programs.
